How
Can You Join?
To
join you must be chosen. While everyone is welcome at our open
events, to become a Wannabe or Queen, we must like you, and you must
undergo an initiation rite. The specific initiation rite will be
determined once you've been selected for membership into our
Queendom.

Who Can Join?
In order to join, you must have first read "The
Sweet Potato Queens Book of Love" by Jill Conner Browne.
In addition to reading SPQ Bible, you must also be
willing to laugh loudly, and make a spectacle of yourself.
We must also like you and decide we want to keep you.
If we don't, don't feel too bad - you can always start your
own local chapter.
